IMPACT School History

IMPACT for Early Childhood Education was established over 35 years ago by parents of both typical children and those with special needs. IMPACT is generously staffed by licensed, certified and family Infant Toddler Developmental Specialists (ITDS)s trained to focus on each child’s social and academic and cultural interactions, strengths and challenges vis-a-vie kindergarten readiness.

School Locations

IMPACT operates two schools, one in Fort Myers and one in Cape Coral that accommodate about 25 students while mobile ITDSs see approximately 250 additional children at home where they can work with them in the family environment.

Our Mission

To provide top quality, single source, specialized and comprehensive early childhood developmental education for typically developing, special needs and exceptional students across the preschool spectrum.

Why Choose IMPACT

Our students and the majority of our funding come through continuing direct enrollment by families, through scholarships from public and private sources, and through student assignment from agencies including the School District of Lee County, Early Steps, and FDLRS.
